PROJECT OVERVIEW

Afterglow is a proof-of-concept short film and the first step in an exciting journey. Created as a thesis project at the New York Film Academy, the film is part of a larger vision. Over the past year, we’ve refined the script, cast talented actors, and assembled a dedicated crew. With your support, we’ll secure essential resources like locations, equipment, and fair compensation for our team.

This campaign isn’t just about funding—it’s about connecting with supporters who share our passion for independent film and meaningful storytelling.

Once completed, Afterglow will be submitted to film festivals as a launchpad for a feature adaptation. Supporters will enjoy private screenings—both in-person and digital—so everyone can share in the journey and see the impact of their generosity.

BUDGET ALLOCATION

The budget for AFTERGLOW is thoughtfully allocated to support each phase of production, ensuring a high-quality film while maintaining financial responsibility. Every line item has been carefully planned to bring our vision to life—from securing experienced talent and essential equipment to cover crucial aspects like insurance, location fees, and post-production. We’ve also included a contingency fund to manage any unforeseen expenses, allowing us to stay on schedule and deliver a polished final product. This budget reflects our commitment to crafting a meaningful, professional short film that captivates and resonates with audiences.
